The brains behind this STL Blues Brothers show - freelance drummer, bandleader, and educator, Kevin Stevens has performed with a wide range of artists including Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member - Duane Eddy, punk rock pioneer - Steve Jones (Sex Pistols), Marc Broussard, Minnie Driver, Latin pop-star - Beto Cuevas, and many others while touring the globe and appearing on national TV (Jimmy Kimmel Live, Ellen Show, Late Late Show with James Corden, America’s Got Talent).

He was in the original production of Rock of Ages and has also performed on soundtracks for television including the Disney Network, Frazier (NBC), Star (Fox), and Coca-Cola national ad campaigns. 

Carey Frank - Keyboard / Vocals

Carey Frank - Producer/Keyboards/Vocals

Originally from South Florida, Carey Frank is now living in Los Angeles, CA. He is fortunate to be an active musician, working as a soloist and with various other musicians, genres, and groups. Originally from South Florida, since moving to LA, Carey has toured with Tedeschi Trucks Band (Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks) and Social Distortion, and performed with the likes of Michael Bublé, Veronica Swift, Mike Garson, Orianthi, Hot Tuna, The Wood Brothers, Marshall Tucker Band, Jane Monheit, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Joan Jett, Bruce Springsteen, Gavin DeGraw, Bob Mintzer, Paris Jackson, John Stamos, Scary Pockets, Vanessa Amorosi, Seasick Steve, and Luke Spiller (The Struts). 

Ben Thomas - Producer/Vocals/Harmonica

Ben is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, storyteller, and performer with almost 30 years of live performance in his briefcase of blues. He toured the world as the lead vocalist, trumpeter, trombonist, and rhythm guitarist in Dweezil Zappa led Zappa Plays Zappa for 7 years.

He’s currently the lead vocalist of the Danny Carey UnTrio – a band formed around the eponymous Tool drummer and performs and records with the Neo-Soul singer Aloe Blacc. Ben also fronts a collaborative experimental prog/rock/metal/funk group, The Bird Brain, in support of their new self-titled EP.

Woody Mankowski - Vocals/Tenor Sax

Forrest “Woody” Mankowski has worked extensively in recording studios as a commercial singer/instrumentalist.  You may have heard him on television or radio on one of over 500 jingles on which he has sung or played, for clients such as Miller Lite, Turner Classic Movies, Culvers, and Country Kitchen.

As a freelance musician, Woody has toured with Larry Carlton and backed up popular artists such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Cheap Trick, Aretha Franklin, James Ingram, Peabo Bryson, and many others.  He has played in the pit orchestras for touring Broadway shows including “The Producers”, “Chicago”, and “Hairspray”.

Currently Woody leads numerous bands in Los Angeles and is the lead singer and co-writer for the super-group, Ebunctions (Jeff Babko, Steve Ferrone, Ethan Farmer & Shane Theriot.)

Sharlotte Gibson - Vocals

Adryon de León - Vocals

Adryon de León was raised in the artist’s haven of Ojai, CA, where gospel roots and musical theater shaped her soulful, theatrical style. A featured principal vocalist at Disneyland Resort, she’s performed with Macy Gray, Patti Austin, The Growlers, and George Clinton, and was the powerhouse voice of LA soul-funk band Orgone, contributing heavily to their album Reasons.

Her studio work spans global campaigns for Hulu, McDonald’s, and Netflix, and she’s appeared on major stages including The Little Mermaid: Live-to-Film at the Hollywood Bowl and the Emmys Governors Gala. Her vocals also feature on Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’s Mank soundtrack.

In 2023, Adryon joined Idina Menzel’s Pride tour as a supporting vocalist. Her debut solo single, “Ally” (Color Red, 2021), is a soulful call for racial equality and social justice.

Sharlotte Gibson - Vocals

Sharlotte Gibson is an American vocalist and songwriter who has recorded and toured with artists such as Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Queen Latifah, and Nine Inch Nails. She has also served as a backing vocalist on American Idol and written the theme song for The Ellen Show.

Sharlotte has recently performed as a member of Shania Twain’s band for the entirety of her Las Vegas residency, and on television with the Kelly Clarkson Show

James Achor - Guitar

James is probably best known as a founding member of The Royal Crown Revue. James’ musical compositions and “swinging” guitar have appeared in several feature films and television shows such as Dancing With The Stars, Swingers, Modern Family, Beverly Hills 90210, Shrek 4, Monsters Versus Aliens, Jim Carey’s “The Mask” to name a few.

James has appeared on such prestigious stages as “The Playboy Jazz Festival”, “The Newport Jazz Festival”, “The Mount Hood Jazz Festival” New York’s “JVC Jazz Festival”, and The Conan O’Brien Show.

Stuart Ziff - Guitar

Stuart Ziff - Vocals/Guitar

Native New Yorker Stuart Ziff has crafted a career as a professional guitarist, songwriter, and popular music historian. Stuart’s expertise lies in rock & roll, R&B, funk, blues, and all points in between.

A veteran sideman of 35 years, he has supported many legends, including Wilson Pickett and Charles Brown, and backed contemporary artists, emerging singer-songwriters as well as Broadway shows. In 1994, he co-wrote the #1 single “Thinkin’ Problem” with country artist David Ball (Warner Bros.). Stuart has numerous recording credits as a guitarist, producer, and vocalist in New York, Nashville, and Los Angeles, and for 20 years, toured as guitarist for the legendary funk/R&B/Latin group War.

Jonny Flaugher - Bass

Jonny Flaugher is a Los Angeles–based bassist, composer, and session musician known for his versatile work across jazz, pop, and film music. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, he has performed and recorded with artists including Lady Blackbird, Nicole Atkins, Ryan Adams, Shakira, Vanessa Carlton, and Coby Brown. His playing spans upright and electric bass, blending deep groove with melodic sensitivity.

Jonny’s studio and live credits include film scores such as The Greatest Beer Run Ever and No Hard Feelings, and he continues to collaborate on projects from soulful Americana to cinematic soundtracks.

Travis Carlton - Bass

Travis Carlton is a Los Angeles–based bassist known for his deep groove, versatility, and soulful tone. The son of legendary guitarist Larry Carlton, Travis has toured and recorded extensively with his father and performed with artists including Robben Ford, Sara Bareilles, Scott Henderson, Michael Landau, and Greg Mathieson. A graduate of the Musicians Institute, he’s equally at home in funk, jazz, rock, and R&B settings.

In addition to his work with Scott Henderson’s Trio, Travis can be seen on YouTube performing with the funk collective Scary Pockets, where his pocket-driven basslines and musicality have earned him a dedicated following.

Alex Budman - Baritone Saxophone

Since his move to Los Angeles from San Francisco in 2005, Alex Budman has been in heavy demand as a session musician and soloist, recording on a wide variety of albums, TV shows, and movies (The Simpsons, Glee, Family Guy, Minions, The Bob’s Burgers Movie, Burlesque, Get Hard)

As a bandleader, Alex directed his 16-piece Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, playing more than 300 shows and recording two albums. His most recent big band collaboration with Jeremy Levy, The Planets: Reimagined, was nominated for a 2021 Grammy™ Award in the instrumental arranging category. Alex co-produced the album and is featured on lead alto sax.

Alex also keeps a busy touring / performing career with a wide variety of names like Christopher Cross, Barry Manilow, Danny Seraphine and CTA, Robby Krieger, Jamie Cullum, Boz Scaggs, Seth MacFarlane, Erykah Badu, and Bettye Lavette.

Sean Billings - Trumpet

Sean Billings was raised in Mission Viejo, CA, and has since immersed himself in the vibrant and rich musical textures of Southern California. He can be heard with the Grammy Award-winning Brian Setzer Orchestra, the genre-blurring afro/latin funk ensemble Jungle Fire, and Latin pop megastar Gloria Trevi. Sean has recorded with U2, Mavis Staples, Pitbull, and Diana Krall as well as on the How to Be a Latin Lover original score.

He has collaborated with producer Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics and made television and film appearances on Dexter, Gangster Squad, The Tonight Show, Conan, and the American Music Awards. Sean's original music with Jungle Fire can be heard on worldwide advertising campaigns with Nike, Starbucks, Levi's, and ESPN.

Lemar Guillary - Trombone

Lemar Guillary, a professional trombonist from Los Angeles, CA, has performed and recorded with numerous acts from chart toppers such as Robin Thicke and Jennifer Hudson, to Jazz Legends: Reggie Workman and Charles Tolliver.

Lemar has his own music recording studio in Hollywood, CA where he works on projects with both experienced and up & coming musicians. Lemar co-wrote “Living In New York” on the Robin Thicke album Paula. Lemar is quickly becoming one of the most visible trombonists in the mainstream of the music industry.
